Caturday Night Special, Episode 0x3C

I harvested the heirloom potatoes last weekend, all grown in containers from ten to twenty gallons:
Purple Viking:

Starting weight: 1.25lbs
Harvest weight: 9.00lbs
Return: 720%
Carola:

Starting weight: 1.25lbs
Harvest weight: 7.25lbs
Return: 580%
Average return: 650%

My best performing investment so far, and I have plenty of seed potatoes for the next round. I'll be putting up the Fall garden in the next few weeks here (between assignments), and Seed Savers Exchange has starting shipping their garlic, for those so interested.

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where the witch says to marge, "if I knew you were coming, I would have baked a cat."

You have to love the way cats can crash as a team. I can crash, but I don't have a team!

It also makes me want to plant one of those shrubs or whatnot. Do they have a woman shrub too?

I believe they do, but it's by proxy, as the cacao beans have to be processed first...

YOU planted one of those women trees, didn't you! Now you are like one of those cats, the male one! Ha!

Can I have some seeds?
