Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation's 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.
"Yes We Can" planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald's restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama's honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.
Dress-code will be sweat-suits; bring change for hope and the public transit. Marxist tracts and Big-Macs will be provided.
Also, in honor of Obama's shuffling, mindless hordes, hands outstretched in search of the property of the living, I have introduced a new tag: Kool-Aid Korps.

Dude, this Obama worship, while nutty before, is just going totally outer limits.
Pretty soon we're going to see Lenin-style posters of Obama the Dear Leader or somethin'.
There's nothing scarier than a cult of personality at the controls of the country.
I agree: this is approaching proportions of incredulity that defy description, barring astronomical terms.
There's already a slue of excellent Soviet-style posters floating around that feature a contrast between similar Lenin posters. Hilarious, in that nervous-laughter-regarding-portents-of-the-future type of way.
Between organizing supplies for hard times ahead and reading the news with a hand on my forehead, it's been a long week.
