I didn't need a lot of reasons to avoid the post-Thanksgiving madness (obligatory Sparta joke) beyond minimizing exposure to the current crop of incubatory mouth-breathers lining up in the chilly pre-dawn hours, but I also happen to like sleeping-in before loading up another helping of smoked turkey.
As if I need more shiny plastic-molded crap, anyway. Instead, I ordered three more apple trees from Trees of Antiquity (White Pearmain, Winesap and Blacktwig): gifts that keep on giving.
Mmmmm smoked turkey. Sounds heavenly. And for dessert (my fav) what did ya have? Hmmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteAs far as I remember, we had a peanut-butter pie, a chess pie, and two pumpkin cheesecakes. (Anything that wasn't immediately devoured was divided and send home with guests, so the instant-replay is unavailable.)
